Real Ryder

The RealRyder® ABF8 vision began 15 years ago when competitive cyclist and RealRyder International® Co-founder Colin Irving sought to improve the performance of the stationary bike by simulating the feel of the real bike experience. Colin shared his dream and teamed with industry expert Sean Harrington, whose fitness contributions include the Heart Mate Stationary Bike, Wind Racer, and pioneering of Nautilus as a successful fitness club chain operation. When Rich Hanson, whose sales-marketing expertise drove the expansion of Nautilus as a product line, and also launched the legendary Stairmaster, joined as a partner in June of 2007, the project went into high gear. The already impressive RealRyder® team has recently seen one more notable upgrade, with the recent addition of Douglas Brooks, a world renowned fitness author, lecturer, trainer and T.V. personality, as well as one of the highest regarded personal trainers in the country.
With 80 plus years of combined industry experience, the RealRyder®International team engineered a superior performance studio bike to meet the needs of the elite-cyclist for training and performance, inspire the indoor cyclist, and literally recast the indoor cycling workout from what was essentially a cardio building exercise, to an overall fitness program.
